A Kitchener woman is facing multiple impaired driving related charges. Oxford OPP attended the scene on Karn Road this past Saturday and upon investigation made the arrest.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP - On Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 9:05 p.m., the Oxford OPP arrested a driver on Karn Road in South-West Oxford Township.
Police attended the area to assist a motorist.
Upon speaking with the driver, it became apparent the driver had consumed alcohol.
An approved screening device was administered at the roadside and the driver was subsequently placed under arrest. The accused was transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result, 57-year-old from Kitchener was charged with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on a later date.
