Time is running out to register online for the big Daffodil Dash in Roth Park this Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - It's the same great fundraiser, but under a new name.
The Daffodil Dash, formerly known as Cool Runnings, will take place in Roth Park this Saturday.
Participants will travel along the 1K, 5K and 10K routes.
Committee Member Janet Thompson says it's a great way to enjoy the fall weather.
"It's in the woods and it's along the lake. The colours are looking very nice and we run out along the dam so you get to look out across the lake. It's a really fun run to do."
If you are not an avid runner, Thompson says you are more than welcome to walk the trails.
"It's not hard and a lot of people go down there and walk all the time. So enjoy the outdoors, make some money and help fight cancer."
Registration will kick off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. The 1K run will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the 5K and 10K will get underway a half hour later.
You can register online here before this Friday at 12 p.m. Participants can also register the day of, but it will cost $5 extra.
All of the money raised will benefit the Canadian Cancer Society of Oxford.
