Time is running out to sign up for the Paths to the Past online presentation, which will highlight how you can use library resources to research your family tree.
INGERSOLL - The Oxford County Library is teaming up with the Ingersoll 50+ Activity Centre for the Paths to the Past online presentation.
It's happening on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. over Zoom and Local History Library Technician Vicki Brenner says it will be a great opportunity for those who want to learn more about their family tree.
"It will be focusing on the library's local history website and how someone can conduct research from home. We have many digitized records for researchers to chart their family history."
Brenner will walk you through the entire process.
"Our library card holders can access Ancestry Library Edition from home and I'll be demonstrating a pathway so someone can understand the research process right from the beginning."
It's free to sign up but you have to call the Ingersoll 50+ Activity Centre at 519-485-3869 before Friday May 14th.
