Young adults being offered a free eight week supply of nicotine patches or gum
The County of Oxford is inviting young adults to "Leave the pack behind."
A new program is giving young adults between the ages of 18-and-29 some extra incentive to quit smoking this summer.
Young adult smokers are being offered a free eight week supply of nicotine patches or gum, while supplies last.
To be eligible, smokers must meet the age requirement, not be pregnant or breastfeeding and must not be diagnosed with any medical condition listed on the product's monograph.
Those interested can apply at: LeaveThePackBehind.org -- which will help determine the appropriate treatment course and dosage to match the user's level of tobacco use.
