Moulton says proposed budget was practical, achievable, realistic and strong plan to put Ontario on the right track
WOODSTOCK -- Hearing what residents want for Oxford's future is just one item Liberal Candidate Dan Moulton is tackling this election season.
"The Minister of Finance tabled a budget in the Legislature that I was proud to be a part of working on. It's a great plan. It talks about investing in our people and our education, building modern infrastructure and keeping business taxes low. I want to hear what they think about that plan. I want to talk to them about what their vision is for Oxford's future. I think it's time for a new voice for Oxford."
Moulton says the Liberal plan is the budget they proposed May 1.
"It's practical, it's achievable and it's realistic and it's a strong plan to put Ontario on the right track. We are doing incredibly well in education, we're building new schools but there is more to do there. We are building infrastructure across the province but there is still a deficit that needs to be made up."
He says he has a clear plan going forward in the election.
"What I'm going to work really hard every day of this campaign to do is to win people's votes. Talk to them about what we think the best course is for Oxford to take in the future, where we can invest as a province in Oxford County as we have been doing.."
Moulton says he hopes through his campaign he can motivate more young people to get involved in politics.
