The Woodstock Choralaires will perform hit songs from popular 50s and 60s movies at Knox Presbyterian Church this Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Choralaires are excited to announce the long-awaited premiere of Lights, Camera, Action!
The group of about 65 members has been eagerly waiting to perform this show since 2020.
Choir member Heather Jones says the songs are sure to bring back memories for everyone.
“A lot of these pieces are ones that we all know, we may not know why we know it. Maybe as a child, you watched the movie but they just stand the test of time.”
Lights Camera Action will feature songs from popular 50s and 60s movies, including known favourites like The Jungle Book, Mary Poppins, Moon River, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Jones says the audience can expect a special guest during the show as well.
“Our guest artist is Michael Vanhevel. I think some of your listeners may know him, he performs at Victoria Playhouse. “
The show is taking place at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 29 at 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $25 each, and kids 12 and under are free to attend. They can be purchased before the show from Wilson & Markle Jewellers, online at Ticket Scene, or from any of the Choralaires at 519-456-5270.
