It's been a morning of tears and frustration at the Woodstock Courthouse as the sentencing trail for Elizabeth Wettlaufer gets underway.
Many family members have stepped up to read their impact statements as Elizabeth Wettlaufer watches on.
The former Woodstock nurse admitted to killing eight seniors with insulin injections as well as pleading guilty to four counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
Seven of those deaths, the aggravated assaults, and two of the attempted murders happened at the Caressant Care in Woodstock. The other attempted murders happened at Telfer Place in Paris and a private residence in Oxford County.
