It's the time for giving and the United Way of Oxford is definitely feeling the community's generosity. Three local businesses presented the organization with their campaign totals. OLG representatives increased their donations by over 50% compared to last year. Funds were raised through employee contributions and special event activities. They gave over $3,000. Community Employment Services presented United Way Oxford with the proceeds from their annual fall campaign. A combination of employee donations and special events raised close to $2,000. And the Scotiabank Dundas St. location raised over $4,000. Employees helped with the contribution as well as corporate sponsors.
