Those interested in getting a free tree have to register by March 15th.
OXFORD COUNTY - Kids in Oxford County will be able to plant a tree thanks to our local libraries.
The Oxford County Library and the Woodstock Public Library have decided to team up with Neighbourhood Forest to offer one free tree per child, while supplies last.
Kids interested in the program have to sign up by March 15th. and the trees should be ready for pick up during the week of April 22nd. You can register online here if you would like to pick your tree up at the Woodstock Public Library, or you can register online here if you would like to pick up your tree from one of the 14 Oxford County Library branches.
The exact species of tree will remain a secret until April, but we do know that it will be native to Ontario.
Earth Day will be happening on Monday April 22nd.
