Oxford County Pride continues to celebrate Pride Month with a family fun day and an adult only party.
WOODSTOCK - Oxford County Pride Committee will be shining their colours brightly as they celebrate Pride Month.
Everyone is welcome to a family friendly celebration at Southside park on Saturday June 17th from noon until 4 p.m.
Vice Chair of the Oxford Pride Committee Phil Vandermolen expects a cavalcade of superheroes to turn up and help celebrate families of all kinds.
"We're going to have lots of stuff for the kids to do - it's going to be very family based. We've got some great entertainment coming in; Phil and Vinni are coming in. They're a great acoustic duo that does live classic rock to pop."
At night the party shifts to Riff's Music Lounge for an adult only party. Vice Chair Tami Murray says this was a big hit last year.
"It is a 19+ event and there will be lots of door prizes and this year we actually have an MC - Nikki Nastasia will be coming down as well as lots of door prizes and it should be a great time."
The party kicks off at Riff's at 8 p.m. There is a $5 cover in effect with the proceeds supporting the Oxford County Pride Committee
