The City of Woodstock had one of the lowest voter turnouts at 31.3%, while the Town of Ingersoll had the highest turnout percentage at 46%.
OXFORD COUNTY - Voter turnout was up slightly in the City of Woodstock, however it is still pretty abysmal.
Voter turnout in the Friendly City was just 31.3 percent for this campaign with only 9,316 people taking time to vote out of a possible 29,678. This is actually up from last year where voter turnout was even lower at 31 percent.
The Town of Ingersoll had a much better voter turnout at 46 percent. This is up slightly from 2014 where the voter turnout was 45 percent.
The voter turnout in Tillsonburg this year was 39 percent which is almost the exact same as 2014.
Voter turnout in Zorra Township was 44 percent, which is down 4 percent from the last election.
Voter turnout was up in Blandford Blenheim Township this year at 35 percent compared to 32 percent in 2014.
South West Oxford Township had a voter turnout of 16 percent which is down from 38 percent last election, however most of their candidates were acclaimed.
East-Zorra Tavistock had a voter turnout of 43 percent which is down 7 percent from 2014.
Over in Norwich Township the voter turnout was 38 percent which down slightly from last time.
