A 41-year-old man had to be taken to hospital early Friday morning after he was stabbed in an apartment in downtown Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - A 55-year-old man from Woodstock has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault following a stabbing in his hometown.
Police believe he stabbed another man with sharp instrument in an apartment on Dundas Street early Friday morning.
The 41-year-old victim fled the scene and went to the Woodstock Police Station. He was later taken to hospital and he is in stable condition.
Police say the victim and the suspect both know each other.
