Southwestern Public Health says the COVID-19 outbreak at Maple Manor is officially over.
TILLSONBURG - The COVID-19 outbreak at Maple Manor in Tillsonburg is now over.
Southwestern Public Health says all of the cases associated with the outbreak have been resolved.
It was first declared on December 12th and it has had a devastating impact on the community since then.
A total of 138 cases were reported including 86 residents and 52 staff members. Twenty people died as a result.
Southwestern Public Health is also reporting two new COVID-19 related deaths today, unrelated to Maple Manor. One was a man in his 80s from Oxford County and the other was a woman in her 70s also from Oxford County. The woman's case was associated with the outbreak at Carassant Care in Woodstock.
