The Mayor of Ingersoll claims his town is "the community of choice." Ted Comiskey gave a speech about the happenings in Ingersoll Wednesday morning in his annual address to the Ingersoll Chamber of Commerce.. He talked about the various successes they've had as well as current and future projects. He says Ingersoll is thriving: "When you go down the list and say what does a town have that I require as a family or as an industry or business, you start checking off what's available. We are there with our sports, creative arts, and rec centres plus we have that something special." Comiskey said the town is busting at the seams, as they continue to look for new ways to expand. Ingersoll is expecting a new gateway sign on the 401, and hopes to expand the downtown Conestoga College. Just a few ways the town hopes to attract immigration.
