Oxford County council approved two amendments to allow for a subdivision in Innerkip and an apartment complex in Woodstock.
INNERKIP - Oxford County approved a couple of official plan amendments to allow for some more housing in the County.
Council agreed to redesignate lands from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential for a new apartment complex in Woodstock. The new complex will have 29 apartment units at the corner of Lansdowne Avenue and Nellis Street in the Friendly City. The intent of the Official Plan Amendment is to redesignate the lands from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential to accommodate the development of a 5-storey, 29-unit apartment dwelling house on the subject property. The apartment units will be a combination of 1 & 2 bedroom units.
County council also approved a new subdivision for the Village of Innerkip. The homes will be built by Ricor Engineering Limited on Main Street in the Village of Innerkip. The subdivision will include 45 units.
