PARIS - Three local businesses were broken into in Paris.
On Sunday morning, Brant OPP responded to a reported break and enter at a business on Rest Acres Road in the County of Brant. The entry was discovered when employees arrived in the morning. Shortly after the initial call, police received similar reports from two other businesses in the same area. Information about these break-ins has come just hours after learning about an armed robbery in Paris a day ago.
Police have determined that an unknown suspect entered the businesses by force sometime between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m. The glass on the front doors were found smashed. Once inside, the suspect removed cash drawers from each business.
The suspect left the area in a dark-coloured SUV driven by a second unknown suspect.
Police are asking residents in the Arlington Parkway and Newstead Road area to check any security systems for suspicious activity in the area early Sunday morning. There are also pictures of the suspect below. Police ask you contact them or Crime Stoppers if you have any information.
