A special ceremony in Tillsonburg next week will commemorate National Victims and Survivors of Crime Week.
TILLSONBURG - National victims and Survivors of Crime week starts on Sunday.
In Oxford County they will be commemorating this with a special plaque at a memorial bench at the Gibson House near Lake Lisgar in Tillsonburg. Executive Director for Victim Services of Oxford County Jeremy Gofton explains what will be on the plaque.
"It will say recognizing victims and survivors 2020, celebrating courage and renewing commitment."
The small ceremony next Wednesday will feature Tillsonburg Mayor Stephen Molnar, Oxford OPP Detachment Commander Tony Hymers, other representatives from the OPP, the Town and of course Victim Services of Oxford County.
