It is a special time for the Woodstock Navy Vets as they prepare for their first season in the GOHL.
WOODSTOCK - It has been a busy off-season for the front office of the Woodstock Navy Vets.
The Navy Vets are getting ready to open their first season in the Greater Ontario Hockey League, after being announced as the 24th team in the league. They finished their final Junior C season in the Provincial Junior Hockey League with a long playoff run that ended in a loss to Tavistock in the Doherty Division Final.
Once the season was over, the front office began looking at what needed to be done to make the jump to Junior B. It began with the hiring of Head Coach Andy Bathgate, and now the first group of committed players has been announced. There will be some familiar faces hitting the ice with the Navy Vets during the 2026-2027 season, as defenceman Will Wright played with the organization last season, along with forward Kingston McPherson.
Below is the complete list of players who have committed to play for the Woodstock Navy Vets in their first GOHL season.
