City Council set to purchase a new 2015 bus for Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - City Council have approved the purchase of a new city bus. The 40 foot low floor NOVA will replace a 1989 GM machine and is expected to cost nearly $470,000. Over the past few years council has been faced with an ongoing bus replacement program to replace the aged fleet that has been solely funded by provincial programs. The city currently owns 10 buses with 9 of those being NOVA's which is reported to make maintenance and repairs more efficient. Once the new bus is put into commission the fleet will be comprised of model years from 2005-2015.
