Nick Novacich will become the new Deputy Chief for the Woodstock Police Service on July 18th.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service will soon have a new Chief and Deputy Chief.
Rod Wilkinson is set to takeover the Chief's position on July 8th and it has just been announced that Nick Novacich will become the Deputy Chief on July 18th.
Novacich has been a police officer for 27-years. He actually spent time with the Woodstock Police Service from 1995 to 2000.
“Woodstock Police set the foundation for the police officer I have become and I am extremely excited for this opportunity to return to help lead and mentor the current and future members of this great organization. With the progressive strategic path that has been set by the current administration, I look forward to adding my contributions and engaging with all stakeholders within the community.”
Novacich served as a frontline patrol officer and was also a qualified scenes of crime officer during his time in the Friendly City.
He has been with the Aylmer Police Service for the past 14-years and he served as the Deputy Chief for Aylmer for the past two years.
