Ingersoll Fire Chief John Holmes says no one was hurt during yesterday's fire and the exact cause has not been determined at this time.
INGERSOLL - No one was hurt after a fire broke out at the E&E McLaughlin building on Chisholm Drive in Ingersoll.
According to Ingersoll Fire Chief John Holmes, the fire was contained to the rooftop ventilation system on the Cargill portion of the building and everyone evacuated when the alarms went off.
The call came in at about 6:45 a.m. yesterday morning and about 20 firefighters responded with three fire trucks. It took them about two hours to get the fire under control.
There is no word on the cause or the damage estimate at this time.
The other portion of the E&E McLaughlin building is rented out by Tillsonburg Custom Foods.
