No one was hurt after a fire broke out at a home on Kent Street in Woodstock.
No injuries are being reported after a fire in Woodstock.
Woodstock Police and Woodstock Fire responded to a home on Kent Street yesterday morning around 9:30 a.m. When police circled around to the back of the home, they discovered a fully involved fire involving parts of the house and exterior structures. One of the men who lives in the home was in the process of trying to extinguish the fire with a garden house. Woodstock Fire Department swooped in and put the fire out.
During the investigation police discovered skeletal remains in the fire pit, but investigation by the Forensic Identification Officer and Crime Unit determined the bones were not human.
