The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is looking for you to nominate a business or individual as the Business Awards of Excellence approach.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is looking to celebrate local business.
They will be hosting the 28th annual Business Awards of Excellence in November. Past President, Ifhan Hudda says why this event is hosted every year.
"So, we want you guys to celebrate and recognize the incredible achievements of our local business community by nominating a deserving business or individual in one of our 8 categories."
Those categories include, outstanding new business, young entrepreneur/professional of the year, community engagement award, professional services of the year, outstanding food services award, outstanding achievement manufacturing award, outstanding commercial/retail award, and agri-business award. Hudda mentions there is the Presidents award, which takes a lot of time to figure out.
"It is a year process to tell you honestly. There's a lot of great people out there that provide great contribution to our community, and to recognize them it is very, very hard to recognize all of them."
If you want to nominate a business or individual, you can visit the Chamber of Commerce website and fill out the nomination form. Nominations will be accepted until the end of the day on May 26th.
