Briefs include drugs and money seized at a home in Simcoe and drug charges in a separate incident in Simcoe as well
SIMCOE - Two people were arrested after OPP executed a search warrant on Kent Street.
Police seized a quantity of illicit drugs along with a large amount of money after they took seven people into custody on January 31st.
Two people have been charged with the following offences:
- 33-year-old Tara Johnson of Norfok County was charged with possession of hydromorphone.
- 45-year-old Miguel Ricardo Downer of Shelburne was charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Both are scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.

SIMCOE - Three people were taken into custody after officers spotted them at a local park in the area of Norfolk Street North.
Norfolk County OPP, along with the Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit, charged two people with drug related offences on January 29th.
- 36-year-old Sarah Marie Parks was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and fail to comply with probation order.
- 50-year-old David Shawn Crysler was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine.
Both are expected to appear in a courtroom in Simcoe at a later date.
