A Norwich was arrested after driving a ATV that was stolen in 2010
NORWICH - A 35 year old man from Norwich was picked up by police on a stolen ATV.
Oxford OPP say they stopped the man in the area of Clyde Street and Brock street in Norwich on Tuesday morning. After speaking with the driver police found out he didn't have a license and the vehicle a Yamaha Kodiak ATV had been reported stolen in 2010. The man was arrested at the scene and the vehicle was seized. The 35 year old is facing the following charges.
Drive While Disqualified – Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000 – CCC
Fail to Comply with Probation order (3 Counts) – CCC
Drive While Under Suspension (3 Counts) – Highway Traffic Act
The male was held for a bail hearing at the Woodstock Courthouse.
