A cheque from the OLG will benefit local groups and organizations in the Friendly City through community grants.
WOODSTOCK - The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has issued a second-quarter payment to the City of Woodstock.
They presented the municipality with a cheque for $402,474 recently.
MPP Ernie Hardeman says it's all non-tax gaming revenue from our local Gateway Casinos and all of the money be used for community grants.
"OLG provides direct support to communities across Ontario through payments to municipal partners and local charities, and generates more than $4 billion in economic activity, including goods and services purchased from local businesses."
