Daily case numbers continue to drop as Ontarians enjoy life in Stage 3.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 119 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 549,447.
Three additional COVID-19 related deaths were recorded today, meaning the total number of deaths now sits at 9,316. Another 137 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 538,702.
The province completed nearly 11,930 tests yesterday. We currently have 96 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 95 people in the ICU and 60 in the ICU on a ventilator. The hospitalization numbers are likely higher with roughly 10% of hospitals not submitting data from the weekend. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 22 new cases in Toronto, 15 in Hamilton, 14 in the Region of Waterloo and 13 in Peel Region.
