If the Government scraps the licence plate sticker renewals, it would save drivers $120 a year.
The Ontario Conservatives are considering scrapping licence plate stickers.
The move would save drivers $120 per year. Ontario MPPs don't return to the legislature until Feb. 21 and Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney has not confirmed the reports.
Drivers would still need to renew their vehicle licences annually, but without the fees if the legislation is passed. The Government is apparently going to consider several new bills, including this one when they return on the 21.
