Oxford OPP and Woodstock Police will take part in Operation Impact during the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Police will raise awareness for the Big Four driving behaviours that are monopolized this time of year and caused a total of 182 deaths in Ontario in 2016. This includes 63 distracted driving deaths, 56 speeding deaths, 32 deaths for driving under the influence and 31 deaths for lack of seatbelt restraints.
