WOODSTOCK - Operation Sharing will be collecting donations for the Christmas Place at the Woodstock Farmers Market on Saturday.
They are looking for cash donations and gift cards this year. More and more people will be relying on the Christmas Place this year to provide a nice Christmas for their families.
The goal is to make sure every child has their own gift card, so they can have presents to open under the Christmas tree. Normally the organiztion collects toys this time of year, however they had to shift to gift cards and cash donations because of the pandemic. Giant Tiger and Wal-Mart gift cards are preferred. At last check nearly 500 children have already registered this year.
