As the winter arrives, OPP are asking drivers to pay attention on the roads and they want them to arrive home safe.
OXFORD COUNTY - OPP want to remind drivers to slow down on their way home tonight.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says they have responded to over 200 collisions since 8 o'clock this morning.
He says they want people to get home safe.
"Make sure your vehicle is prepared for the winter months ahead of us because, you know what, I don't think Mother Nature is going to be too kind to us, but more importantly make sure you slow your speed down and turn your entire headlight system on so your visible to other drivers."
Sanchuk says to also share the roads with other cars and give room to snow plow operators.
He adds to not stare at emergency vehicles while you're trying to drive and to not pay attention on the road.
"One of our Brant County officers, their vehicle was crashed into earlier today along with a snow plow. At about 4 o'clock this afternoon I was notified that there was a school bus incident as well where a school bus had been involved in a collision with 22 students."
Sanchuk says despite those two incidents, there were no injuries.
In preparation for winter, he says to also make sure your windshield wiper fluid is full and so is your tank of gas.
