BRANT COUNTY - OPP are encouraging drivers to stop for crossing guards while on the road.
Brant County police were called to investigate an incident after a crossing guard had almost been hit by a car on November 1.
The suspect is a blond haired woman and she was seen driving a silver coloured car heading westbound on William Street, when she turned onto Grand River Street North and nearly missed.
According to The Highway Traffic Act, failing to stop for crossing guards could lead to $180 fine and the loss of three demerit points.
