One person has died after a vehicle struck a horse in Norwich Township this morning.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - An investigation is underway after a vehicle hit a horse in Norwich Township.
The crash happened on County Road 13 at around 5:30 a.m. today and Oxford OPP say the horse was loose on the road at the time. The driver and the horse both died at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as 64 year old Arthur Ridgewell of Norfolk County. A post mortem will be done on Thursday.
The The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and the Oxford County OPP are continuing to investigate the collision.
