No major incidents were reported.
PORT DOVER - The Norfolk OPP is not reporting any major incidents related to the recent Friday the 13th celebration in Port Dover.
About 125,000 people attended last week, but Community Engagement Officer Andrew Gamble says it was a relatively peaceful event.
"The minimal number of reported incidents shows that the vast majority of attendees made safe, responsible choices. The Norfolk County OPP extends its gratitude to the many thousands who made safety a priority and helped ensure another successful Friday the 13th."
Officers did have to conduct some enforcement when it came to open alcohol laws, speeding, careless driving and distracted driving.
Police also seized cocaine after arresting a 39-year-old for assaulting a OPP officer on St. George Street. Thankfully no one was hurt.
The OPP responded to eight motorcycle related crashes across Norfolk, Haldimand, Oxford, and Brant. Five of them were outside Port Dover and none of them were fatal.
