A 65-year-old was arrested without incident Saturday night.
COURTLAND - Charges have been laid after the Norfolk OPP responded to a barricaded person in Courtland.
Officers were called out to Main Street at around 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and they closed the area for several hours. They had the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit on site, but there were no threat to public safety.
A 65-year-old from Norfolk County was eventually arrested without incident or injuries. The charges include uttering threats, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and careless use of a firearm.
