OPP release description of Otterville robbery suspect.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP- Around 1:30 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to the report of a robbery at the Royal Bank of Canada located on Main Street East in Otterville.
A caucasian, heavy set male entered the bank and demanded money. No weapon was seen. The man then fled from the building with an undisclosed amount of money. No one reported injuries at the scene.
Suspect Description:
- Male, white
- 5 foot 6 inches to 6 feet tall
- 55 – 65 years old
- Heavy set
- White beard
- Wearing a dark vinyl jacket, white V-neck t-shirt, blue jeans, and clear gloves
The West Region Canine Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team, OPP Forensic Identification Unit and the Oxford Criminal Investigation Unit were called in to assist with the investigation.
OPP are warning anyone who spots someone matching this description to be cautious and call 9-1-1.
