A new 34 lot subdivision is closer to reality in Otterville
WOODSTOCK - A new subdivision is one step closer to becoming reality in Norwich Township.
County Council went over the Draft Plan of Subdivision Wednesday for the application which calls for 34 lots on the north side of North Street, west of Church Street in Otterville.
The draft plan was first submitted in 2007 and put on hold due to a lack of water capacity in the municipal water system at that time. As water is now available, the developer
would like to proceed with the proposed development in two phases.
Phase One would include Lots 1-10 along North Street, while Phase Two would consist of Lots 11-34, a stormwater management pond and a new local street.
The Township of Norwich has already approved a rezoning of the lands from General Agricultural to Residential Type 1 Zone and Open Space.
