The Ingersoll Chamber of Commerce has sold over 600 tickets for this years Ingersoll Day at Rogers Centre.
The Ingersoll Chamber of Commerce has sold a total of 642 tickets for the 2016 Ingersoll Day at the Rogers Centre. Ingersoll residents will be heading to Toronto on Sunday June 12th to watch the Toronto Blue Jays host the Baltimore Orioles.
General Manager Ann Campbell tells Heart FM how ticket holders will be getting to and from the event.
"We have provided school busses and coach busses, people had their choice. We've got about 275 people that are getting themselves there but they are going to all be in the same area. Everybody is going to be together to represent Ingersoll."
Last year they sold 400 tickets for the event, so they originally ordered that same amount for this year. In the end they had to order more due to the high demand.
Campbell says she is glad the event has been successful.
"When we first started deciding that we would do this, last year we didn't know if it would go over. The Blue Jays if they have a good year it helps us and if they have a good year this year, next year we are definitely going to order more tickets right up front."
The first pitch of the big game will be thrown at 7:07pm.
