The survey indicated most employees enjoyed working with their co-workers at 83.4 percent and they received a mark of over 80 percent for job clarity.
The lowest marks were for workplace stress at 50 percent and the impact of the job on personal life which was graded at 56.9 percent.
Director of Human Resources Amy Smith explains what they do with these numbers.
“We will take a similar approach that we did in 2014 when we did our first survey, in that we took the results of the survey, along with other best practices and formed a three year action plan as to how to address the opportunities that emerged through the survey results.”
Smith says the area they noticed most improvement on was team recognition.
“This was very positive for us because over the last 3 years we have taken a stronger look at addressing recognition by refreshing our recognition program and adding some new elements in relation to recognition.”
Smith adds the overall results of the survey were positive indicating increased engagement levels when compared to 2014 survey results.
