The salary and expenses for Oxford County councillors from last year is now available online. Each councillor has a base salary of just over $29,000, and Warden Larry Martin has a base salary of just over $104,000.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County has released the remuneration and expenses for County Councillors and the Warden from 2019.
Each councillor is based a base salary of $29,292, Deputy Warden Sandra Talbot receives a base salary of $34,493 and the Warden Larry Martin has a base salary of $104,323. The total amount of money claimed for travel and expenses by councillors and the Warden was $3,335. Three councillors, Ryan, Tait and McKay, along with Deputy Warden Talbot did not have any travel expenses.
The total amount claimed for seminars, training and conferences last year from council was $10,678. The highest earning councillor is David Mayberry from South West Oxford at $41,843 and that is because he receives additional money for being part of Southwestern Public Health and SWIFT.
Councillor Molnar had the highest amount of travel expenses at $1,237 and Councillor Birtch had the highest amount for seminars, training and conferences at $3,414.
