The money will be split between Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg, with the bulk of the money going to Woodstock.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County MPP Ernie Hardeman announced the local funding through the 2021-22 Ontario Gas Tax Program.
Oxford County will be getting just under $700,000 through the program. The money will be split between Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg.
Woodstock will receive the bulk of the money at $537,347. Tillsonburg will be getting $102,407 and Ingersoll, $55,595.
The money can be used to operate, expand or improve local transit. In total the Province dished out $375.6 million in funding to 107 municipalities across the province with this program.
