The online survey will close on Tuesday April 30th.
OXFORD COUNTY - This is a last call for people in Oxford County who would like to voice their thoughts on waste collection.
The online survey on the Speak Up Oxford website will close next Tuesday and those who fill it out will also be entered for a chance to win a backyard green cone or 20 bag tags.
The County is considering changes to the waste collection schedule, the number of garbage bags allowed at the curb, and the use of clear garbage bags for recycling and organics. It's also thinking about launching a green bin program for organic waste.
Warden Marcus Ryan says the County would like to hear from the public before making these changes.
"Assessing the curbside waste collection program now allows us to address several legislative, environmental, and program efficiency requirements. It also presents the opportunity to ask residents how potential changes might serve and impact on them. If you want to see an organics or green bin program in Oxford County."
You can find the survey online here.
