Briefs include a stolen truck doing a gas and dash in Woodstock, $5,000 in tools stolen from a utility trailer in Zorra Township, graffiti at the Tavistock Public School, impaired driver in Norwich Township and a bike stolen from an unlocked shed in Ingersoll.
WOODSTOCK - A stolen truck was used in a gas and dash in Woodstock.
OPP say a red 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck with an extended left without paying for gas at a station in Woodstock. The truck had been stolen over the weekend from a home on Wonham Street South in Ingersoll.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP - About $5,000 in tools have been stolen from a utility trailer parked in Zorra Township.
Police say force was used to get inside the trailer on Road 58, sometime between last Saturday and Tuesday. After stealing the tools, the suspect or suspects then gained entry into a nearby office.
The tools are worth an estimated $5,000.

EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - Police are looking for a so called graffiti artist, possibly named James after playground equipment at the Tavistock Public School was tagged.
Police say someone painted the line "James Was Here" in spray paint at the school overnight on Monday. It was also determined that there have been previous occurrences of broken beer bottles at the school which was not reported to police. The OPP is urging all residents to contact police immediately if they observe suspicious activity.

NORWICH TOWNSHIP - A 30 year old woman from Zorra Township has been charged with impaired driving.
An OPP officer doing patrols in the area of Highway 2 in Norwich Township on Monday night noticed a suspicious vehicle. When police pulled over the woman, they determined she was impaired by alcohol and drugs.
The driver was taken into custody without incident.

INGERSOLL - OPP are urging everyone to lock their garages, sheds, vehicles and homes after a bike was taken from a home on David Street in Ingersoll.
Police say the black Trek 3700 mountain bike with a Trek headlight was stolen sometime between July 26th and July 28th from an unlocked shed on the property. The bike had a "Ziggy Cycle" yellow and blue sticker on the frame.
OPP estimate the bike theft is valued at about $800.
Members of the Oxford County OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
