OXFORD - Police are investigating a fraud claim after a victim was contacted by someone claiming to be a police officer.
Oxford OPP say the suspect asked the victim to deposit money into a Bitcoin machine to avoid an arrest warrant.
Police are reminding everyone that police never deal with cash or cryptocurrency and that anyone who receives a call of this nature should just hang up.
