The officers were conducting the R.I.D.E check on Plank Line early Saturday morning when the driver, who appeared to be impaired, approached the stop.
TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP has charged a Tillsonburg driver after a R.I.D.E Program in South-West Oxford Township.
The officers were conducting the R.I.D.E check on Plank Line early Saturday morning. Around 12:30 a.m., the driver, who appeared to be impaired, approached the stop.
A roadside test was taken and concluded that the driver had alcohol in their system.
19-year-old Victoria Baczewski was arrested and transported to the local OPP detachment for further testing. She was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired with a Blood Alcohol Concentration 80+
- Adult Novice Driver - Blood Alcohol Content Above Zero
- Adult Young Driver - Blood Alcohol Content Above Zero
Baczewski is scheduled to appear in court in Woodstock at a later date.
