Oxford Reads author Amy Spurway will be answering your questions during a Facebook Live Gala this Saturday night for her debut novel "Crow."
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford Reads Facebook Live Gala is happening this Saturday.
It will feature the author of the Oxford Reads novel this year Crow, Amy Spurway. System Support Librarian for Oxford County Library Sarah Mcdonald says Spurway will answer questions from readers.
"Chris Dela Torre from CBC London will lead a Q and A with Amy and that will be done live on our Facebook channel and on the Woodstock Library Facebook channel as well and they we will open it up for live questions from any of our viewers."
This is the perfect chance for anyone who read the novel to get insight from the author about the plot, characters or theme. Spurway says Crow has been a very popular book since it was selected for Oxford Reads this year.
"We have had an amazing response for Crow. We always make sure we are well stocked with our Oxford Reads selection and this year the copies have just been flying off the shelves. The feedback from patrons has been tremendous and you still have time to take out the book and read it before the Gala on Saturday night."
McDonald notes that even though the Gala is virtual this year, it will look the same as it has in the past and they will have plenty of time for audience interaction.
The free event is happening on Facebook Live at 7 pm this Saturday night.
