Boston Pizza will help fund the team with a portion of sales made on Wednesday.
WOODSTOCK - Boston Pizza in Woodstock welcomes the Junior Navy Vets to help out next Wednesday November 28th.
The team will be shadowing the restaurant servers as a part of the proceeds from the day sales will go towards the teams tournaments, ice time and team building activities. This will be the first time the Junior Navy Vets have done the fundraiser. Fundraising Coordinator, Jessica Nancekivell has more.
"We've never done it before but, as soon as someone had mentioned it to me I thought it was a good opportunity for the players to actually contribute to the fundraising efforts. Because, sometimes the team will raising money or selling stuff and they don't really get involved. But this actually gives them a chance to earn the donations."
Nancekivell also mentions;
"It gives the boys a chance to get out in the community, contribute to their success, and to build the team chemistry."
Your welcome to come out to the Boston Pizza on Norwich Ave. in Woodstock to help the cause.
