One dollar from every drink sold will support United Way Oxford.
WOODSTOCK - United Way Oxford is getting ready for a community celebration.
Pints for Purpose is an event presented by Jennifer Webb and Marianne Butler of the Reality Firm and it will be held on Thursday, September 11th at the Upper Thames Brewing Company.
Webb details what you can expect.
"We do have a local artist, we have food and then obviously because it is at Upper Thames you've got the choice of beer, brew, pop, water, whatever you like. For every drink sold, $1 is going to go directly to United Way."
Megan Porter, the Resource Development Coordinator for United Way Oxford, is happy to promote this fun event.
"It is prime campaign season. Jennifer and Marianne have been so generous in putting this event together. They have pulled together members of the community, companies that they work with, friends of theirs who have donated incredible prizes. This is going to be a really fun event."
Tickets are $30 each and they can be purchased online here, but only 100 of them will be sold.
