The Woodstock Navy Vets, the Tavistock Braves, and the Norwich Merchants suffered losses during the final weekend of the PJHL preseason.
PJHL - Oxford County's Doherty Division teams have wrapped up the PJHL preseason.
The Woodstock Navy Vets suffered a 3-2 loss to the Peach Kings in Grimsby Friday night, while the Tavistock Braves were shutout by the Barons in Hanover 6-0. The Norwich Merchants suffered a 4-3 loss to the Irish in Lucan on Saturday.
The regular season gets underway this weekend, with all of our local Jr. C teams hosting their home openers on Friday night.
The Navy Vets will host the Hespeler Shamrocks at Southwood Arena starting at 7:45 p.m., the Braves will battle the Paris Titans at 7:30 p.m., the Norwich Merchants will face the New Hamburg Firebirds at Nor-Del Arena at 8:00 p.m., and the Thamesford Trojans will host the Petrolia Flyers at 7:30 p.m.
