The Woodstock Navy Vets celebrated a 4-2 win over the Tavistock Braves Friday night, ending their four-game losing streak.

The Woodstock Navy Vets snapped their four-game losing streak Friday night, with a 4-2 win over the Tavistock Braves at Southwood Arena. Ethan Szabo scored two goals for the Vets, while Eric Tuori and Jacob McMullen each scored once.
The Navy Vets also tied the Paris Mounties with a final score of 3-3 on Saturday. Ethan Szabo, Patrick Holloway, and Liam VanBradt scored the goals for Woodstock.
Meanwhile, the Tavistock Braves suffered a 4-2 loss to the Wellesley Applejacks on Saturday and the Norwich Merchants celebrated a 4-3 win over the Paris Mounties on Friday.
The Braves are currently sitting in third place in the Doherty Division with 26 points, followed by the Norwich Merchants in fourth place with 23 points and the Woodstock Navy Vets in fifth place with 19. The New Hamburg Firebirds are leading the division with 36 points and the Wellesley Applejacks are currently sitting in second place with 30 points.
In the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans shut out the Dorchester Dolphins 5-0 on Friday and narrowly beat the Lucan Irish 2-1 on Saturday. The Trojans are currently leading their division with 33 points.
